With a motto of "Sulum Canis Has Suus Dies" or "Every dog has his day" the never say die attitude to cricket has kept the Doghouse club in good stead since its formation back in 1962.
Formed to provide league cricketers an opportunity of another game over the weekend, the club is now one of the top friendly nomadic cricket clubs in the north east of England.
Next season (2012) will be the club's 50th anniversary and these web pages provide a real insite into the clubs ups and downs, its players, its tours and the many professional cricketers who have turned out for us or against us. It makes fascinating reading and is a real history of local cricket in the past 50 years.
